hey thanx 4 the suggestion I know i should take photos outside and i wish i could but it's difficult to find a good location without people peeking around and i can't take them by myself if i'm outside, while in my room (which could be a little better) i can use the automatic function of my camera!!

You can always go to a dark allay at night, but then again tha can't be very safe in a big city. Try a park or something. Try a few strolls here and there every now and then, you might find very good spots not to mention other things to photograph.
